Confronting roadblocks, discarding emotional baggage and often years of hurt, pain, guilt and shame are things I strive to help my clients address. As a graduate of Howard University with an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Argosy University/Washington, D.C., additional post graduate work and over 20 years of counseling experience, I work as both a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor and Clinical Site Supervisor at our Matthews office. I strive to help people aged 21 years old and up rediscover their purpose, increase self-awareness that promotes positive change, challenge distorted thoughts and empower themselves to be the best version of themselves.

By using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we will work together to help you identify, manage and resolve issues associated with symptoms of depression, anxiety, work related stress and the intricacies of relationships. Then by exploring and addressing the connection between the Mind, Body and Spirit; we will focus on restoring balance, connection, meaning and purpose back into your life.

The working relationship we form is designed to elicit positive change and confront emotional roadblocks that often keep people from achieving positive connections with others, individual emotional growth and peace within their lives.

With our expertise, dedication, and trauma-informed approach, we’ll match you with an outstanding therapist who can meet you where you are in your journey.
