Willow Nohr, LCSW

Willow Nohr, LCSW [she/her]

Hi! I’m Willow, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with both a Bachelor’s (2020) and Master’s (2021) degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University. Since graduating, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families in a variety of community and outpatient settings.

My approach to therapy is strengths-based & person-centered because I believe the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most powerful factors in fostering meaningful growth. I enjoy helping individuals unveil their strengths, build resilience, and reach their full potential. My primary draws are from person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and play-based interventions — especially when working with children.

I’m passionate about working with children, teens and adults ages 10+ on building coping strategies for managing anxiety, depression, adjusting to life changes, improving mood, and enhancing self-esteem. My goal is to meet each person where they are to make your therapy personalized, practical, and aligned with your unique goals. Most of all, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered as you grow into recognizing your fullest potential.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing with my two dogs, cooking, enjoying sushi, staying active, or hunting for treasures while thrifting!

With our expertise, dedication, and trauma-informed approach, we’ll match you with an outstanding therapist who can meet you where you are in your journey.
